[Shotimes] Aftermarket Parts Quality Control

I was wondering if anyone knew of a web page that gives information on quality standards that aftermarket automotive parts producers must follow.  I looked at the DOT site and the NHSA site but could not find what I am looking for.  I would just like to see something in writing from the goverment saying that aftermarket parts must measure up to OEM specs.   Thanks in advance.
