[Shotimes] OT - ISDN Anyone?

Weather, trees, alignment, etc. Great for some, and some never have good
luck. Really the same with DirecTV.

FWIW, a few years ago we were considering the point-to-point dish deal that
was looking pretty cheap, as we had two offices within a couple miles of
each other. One of my network guys hated the idea, as he used to work in
downtown San Francisco at a dot.com. They tried them on two building that
were across the street from each other. Even though the dishes faced each
other, they still had a lot of problems!!

Take if from me,  you do NOT want satellite ANYTHING.  Our company was in an
area where DSL is not available.  We had satellite internet access up until
this week.  I guess it must really depend on weather patterns where you live
but here in Atlanta there are so many overcast days when it won't connect
that we just bit the bullet and installed a T1 line.

Satellite SUCKS!

only offer ISDN for internet access. I am far enough out in the boonies that
cable isn't available even for just TV viewing. No biggie on that since I
