Easy to beat. I still have a 1976 kit I built based on
a National Semiconductor SC/MP with *1K* static RAM,
binary LED readouts and thumbtack hex input using a
ground lead to tap the tacks and a debounce circuit.

Operating systems and assembler are for wimps. I hand
programmed it in machine language straight in hex.

I have held onto my original KIM-1 (Made by MOSTEK,
the company that
Commodore was started from) complete with all the
manuals and the 
original
shipping box and invoice dated 1977.

How many of y'all remember those?
