[Shotimes] Floored it -- y-pipe seperated from catback

So I just replaced my rod bearings. I had to replace
my spring bolts, as the old ones were rusted tight.

I was thinking that the exhaust sounded better with a
new gasket, but I was a little concerned that it might
be leaking. This is the 4th day I drove it to work,
and I decided that if I floored it, it would tell me
if it was leaking. Well, the exhaust note changed
dramatically as a result, to the motorboat sound. On
the way home, the two pipes seperated. So now the
flange is on the wrong side of the joint.

What is my best course of action? Can I put the
flange over the pipe and make the flare more
pronounced with a hammer? I would order a catback and
y-pipe except that it has to pass inspection this
month, and I think I am running out of time.
