Why would you quote a higher price than you paid  (1) for a car with less
miles......yeah, not much less, but "50K" is a magic mileage number, and (2)
four months ago a '99 was a 4-year-old car, it is now a 5-year-old car.

How about $7,000-$8,000

As a benchmark, I purchased a 1999 with 48,000 for $7,850.00 - 4 months ago.
