[Shotimes] Anyone have an audio file of a failing timing chain tensioner?

I've got a funky knock/rattle coming from my engine.  It's not consistant enough to be rod bearings (I think - although I'm sure thoes are worn to hell too, I think I can hear them at times - very consistant w/ engine speed).
Sometimes I'll only hear it knock/rattle 2 times every 5 seconds, and sometimes 8 every 5 (you get the picture).
The funky thing is it dosent neccesarily sound like it's coming from that area..
*sighs* Any input is appreciated..
