[Shotimes] Bigger A/C problems?

When my compressor blew several years ago, it made a squeal for a few
seconds, which was, I assume the belt due to the compressor frozen up.
After that, the clutch was disengaged so that the car ran fine but no air.
I hope this is not your problem, as much of the system was shot.
Fortunately, my extended warranty covered most of the expense (~$1700 at a
dealer.)
