They are a clear surface mount LED that shines red.  If you can figure
out
how to get the light open without destroying it, more power to you.  I

Does anyone know what type of LEDs are in the spoiler brake light?  Are
they clear and just light up red, or are they red all the time?  I need
to replace one and I want to know which one to get.
