Bad analogy........ It's more like replacing the whole tranny when you blow
the diff pins.....which is a sensible thing to do (versus rebuild).

As Al Fitz says, he's not selling just a light assembly. If replacing the
whole LED is that easy, I guess it sounds like buying a whole spoiler with a
functioning light is the way to go.

And, if it's in better shape than what you have, getting it repainted and
using it..

IMHO, replacing the whole spoiler when just the light is out, is kind of
like replacing the whole transmission when your clutch is out.
