I found that out too.  It acts like the wind blowing up the windshield
catches the wiper blades and hold them standing straight up.  As soon as I
slow down under 100 or so they start working again.  It kinda sucks to have
your wipers stop on you when you are hauling ass!

I've found they are useless above 100 mph.  It's like there is a switch in
the tranny, when you grab 4th gear, they stop working :)
