[Shotimes] 80mm MAF failure, ~$price? (HELP)

yes I am, that's the only thing I didn't really change
out to test...  Could it tbe problem?  What in a K&N
filter would cause such symptoms like power surge? 
It's decently clean and such...   Thansk Al for your
comments..
