I don't believe this matters anymore. Back 30+ years ago, when the additive
level in oil was much lower, the source of the crude probably mattered (like
in PA crude with all the paraffin, etc) and much of the oil stock was from
specific regions in the US.
Nowadays, the additive package matters more than the base stock, which is
most likely (1) imported, and (2) not a "pure" stock, in that base crude
from multiple sources can be in the brew.

It does give the poultry a whiff of pterodactyl every now and then, but I
think that depends more on where the crude stock actually originated, rather
than
on whose label's on the barrel.
I do subscribe to the 3 month / 3000 chicken change interval though.
