Hello,

My 1990 Black MTX has been stuck in reverse for quite
some time now, it turns out it's one of the linkage
that is in the Shifter itself. I looked at it and it
seems to be fairly easy to fix. but Ford, nor no one
so far can help me. The want me to buy a whole new
cable, ~$280 bux.. :(

It's just a rubber bushing which holds the Eye of the
Cable to the Ball-joint of the Shifter Handle, thus
cupping the bushin onto the Ball-joint. simple you
would think.

I'm asking if anyone knows what I am referring to as
well as where I can possibly get a bushing that will
work with this setup..

Again, there's two calbes, one is called something of
Cross-Shift-Cable, the other one is
Engagement-Shift-Cable. The one which goes into gears
is the one I'm having issues with..

any Help? Thanks a bunch! :)

-John Wong
