I think this is another obsoleted part; somebody correct me if I'm

Mine was doing that as well. It only usually kicked the other two
cyclinders 
back in when i reved it above 5000 RPM. I had to get a new one of those
chips 
that are on the side that the 2 plugs go into. I don't know what it is
called 
but i was around $200.
