Yeah I know what you mean about the name thing.  Mine gets
butchered constantly.  The easiest way to pronounce it is to
replace the 'j' with a 'y'.  Woyton.  I hear all kinds of attempts.
In fact, that's how we know if a telephone call is a telemarketer.
If the conversation starts with "Hello Mr....uh..." then we just
hang up.  And we gave up at restaurants.  We missed being
called for a table so many times, we just started using Michaels.

Yeah, we still pronounce it "glumpkey" but as far as I know I have the
correct spelling. It's Polish, so it shouldn't sound like it looks!

And yes, my last name is pronounced "neemik." Translated, it means "German"
or close to that. I've heard it mispronounced so many times, I'd never be
able to remember them all!

Most people ask me if it's Czech.
