One approach is to crawl under the car and wipe off all of the various problem areas, then the next day or so look under the car and find out where the oil is coming out of.
The gasket for the sender is fairly simple. If a person thought this was a problem, a little RTV could probably fix the problem without needing a new gasket, or at least it would be a test to see if this was the problem or not. Remove the gasket, coat it with RTV, put it back, if the oil leak stops or slows down then you know you need a new gasket.
