[Shotimes] Aggrevating engine problem

I replaced the IAB valve last spring, so I don't think that would be the
problem. How would I go about finding a vacuum leak? Could I use Teflon or
electrical tape for a temporary fix? I've never dealt with vacuum leaks
before, but it has crossed my mind as a possible culprit.

On my '97 the rpms would wander and usually would drop so low the engine
would die. It was a vacuum leak.
