I couldn't even attend last year's covention 'in my own backyard - NJ to MD'
because I was on the other side of the country. And I still haven't met any
of my fellow NJ SHOTimers - Ken Epperly, Frank Costa, Ian Fisher, Mike
Humbert, Mike Urbain, and others. My job as an Electrical Controls Engineer
takes me to projects all over the country for a good portion of the year.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where in my e-mail did I say that I don't enjoy the OT
posts? My point, which I guess you missed, was that it would be a shame for
me (or anyone else) to miss some really good technical info merely because
someone didn't change the Subject line.

I don't care to read OT posts about the Super Bowl, hamburgers, or Iraq.
However, I do enjoy reading OT posts about subjects that interest me. It's
through these OT posts that I have met, as an example, other aircraft pilots
like myself. However, noone chimed in during a recent car stereo post where
I mentioned that I play the drums. So I guess I'm the only musician on the
list (with partial loss of hearing).

"You'll have to speak a little louder next time, I'm a bit deaf in this
ear" - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie quote.

My favorite is the list-member who has "Avoid the clap - Jimmy Dugan" at the
end of each post.
