You need to see the 88 Iroc at the Houston autocross. Nearly 400k, original
owner. Car looks almost new, inside and out, recovered seats of course. It
has a new tricked out motor putting out over 400hp. He is running it through
the stock 5 sp and stock rear. He does not drag race it, just road and
autocross.

That is both good and bad. You have to deal with the image. Of course it
gets the image because it is one of a few cars made in America that last
long enough and are cheap enough to repair for white trash to afford.

Also the 80's Irocs are one of the best handling of all the f body. Third
gens are still doing well at Nationals against the LT1, LS1 and the Mustang
Cobras in stock class.
