Sorry guys, I was trying to keep it concise. Always looking to improve my SHO, and in view of impending replacement of the rack, pwr strg pump, etc., I was wondering if the ZF unit from the Gen 3 would work in my Gen 2. If not, I'll just put an o.e. unit back in and adjust the VAPS for improved feel at lower speeds. That's all I was looking for. I was aware that only Gen 3s had ZFs as o.e.
