[Shotimes] Intake Goo

the crap that gets up into the intake I think comes from 2 things. First
when you let off the gas pedal the engine creates a vac. and then some of
the fuel mix gets up in the runners. Also running the car are really now
rev's (like using 5th gear when you should be in 3rd) seems to make a
difference. I don't think at the lower revs that the air is drawn into the
cylinder fast enough so the air/fule mix hangs out a while in the top of the
heads.

motor mounts are easy depending on which one. The front mount was a pain for
me cause my car was wet/salty/sandy and I didn't have deep well sockets. The
rear mount and tranny mounts are supposed to be easy to do, or at least
thats what Kirk tell me. I'm doing my rear mount this sunday with his $40
reinforced one. You can't beat $40 for a very stiff mount. My reinforced
front one from him made such a difference in the shift quality casue the
engine ain't moving as much. I'm locking the whole motor down with his
mounts soon as he gets back from his cam welding trip and gives me my Tranny
mount that he promised me.
