Why buy an X-type Jag when everyone knows that it is a rebadged economy
European Ford? If you're gonna buy a Jag, get a real Jag.

Besides, an X-type with any options at all runs from $35K-$40K, that $29,995
"teaser" list is for a car that no one probably EVER bought.

The drive train may be the same as the AWD Jag with a beginning list price
under $30K. Why buy a Merc when you can buy a Jag? I can't imagine the Merc
listing for less than a Gen II SHO + 4 years inflation. How will the Montego
brand fit in the market?
