[Shotimes] OT- 3.8l Distributor Installation

Can't get much farther off topic than talking distributors on a SHO
list.

Question; 

 When a distributor is fully seated and the motor at TDC, does the rotor
point directly at #1 distributor contact or is it offset by a tooth. I
currently have it installed pointing directly at #1 contact, motor is at
TDC. I have aligned my previous match marks on the engine
block/distributor body.
