Looks like my 1993 will on the sales block soon.
It is Oxford White with a Mocha leather/cloth interior and 160K on the
speedo. Recently past the "new" Texas emission test. Has a hood bra on
front.
It was tuned by Doug Lewis at 110K. Doug also added sub-frame connectors,
new radiator, heat-grooved rotors F&B (adjusted the portioning value so it
does not nose dive) and minor work like resealing the oil pan and replacing
the front seal. It has had the springs cut F&B per specs by Doug so car is
slightly stiffer than stock. The car also has a D4U1 computer in it. The LPM
was recently removed as the codes indicated it had failed and removing it
GREATLY improved the shifting of the ATX and gas mileage.
The a/c has been completely replaced by Ford, the ATX was replaced (yes
installed a new rebuilt from scratch one - replaced rear seal at that time)
a year ago, all hoses have been replaced within the last year and the
starter was rebuilt two months ago. Battery replaced last month. Tires are
Yokohama V-rated DB's with a little over 10K on them.
It also has an very GOOD aftermarket stereo system in it set for sound
quality - Eclipse 5506 head unit - Xtant 3300 amp - Precision Power DEQ230
Equalizer, custom 3-way crossovers, custom kick panels with a tweeter and 5
1/4 Eclipse speakers, 6 1/2 Eclipse speakers in the doors (doors have been
heavily DynaMat), 5 1/4 Eclipse speakers in the rear and a custom sub-woofer
box that mounts into the factory opening with a Kicker Solobaric 10 in the
rear deck (the rear deck has also been heavily DynaMated and the box has
been fiber glassed on the inside and RhinoLiner sprayed on the outside -
deck has eight in opening for the woofer between the rear speakers with
matching grill). I have a presentation book on the system that I used when I
competed in 1996 with the car at USAC and IASCA sound competition events.
The amp rack sits between the wheel with a locking cover to protect the amp
and accessories. The fuses for the amp have been mounted externally for easy
access.
The car has a Clifford Concept 20 alarm system with a expander module - has
4-button remote - unit is set to lock all the doors when armed and ONLY
unlock the driver door when disarmed - second button for unlocking the rest
of the doors - third button for trunk open and the four button works the
Smart windows module (window will roll up when system armed - button will
then crack the windows - button will roll the windows down when used after
disarming).
Needs driver seat bolster repaired (leather is torn), multi-switch needs
some work (it has the wiggled some times to keep it working - not
intermittent speeds) and the antenna does not always work (I think is
missing some of the gear on the antenna).
Car has been maintained religiously and will be missed but it is time to
move on. It has NEVER been damaged in any kind of accident.
Anyone that might be interest can contact me directly. I can provide
pictures of the vehicle and the system. I would like $3k for it but . . .
