Attach cardboard in the middle of it and affix the packing label to it.
Wrap it up nicely with clear tape to make sure it won't get damaged or
torn off the bar. UPS might charge a $10 oversize fee; I dunno about
FedEx. I've shipped a few bars UPS like this...

Anybody have a simple solution for packaging up a sway bar for shipping
by FedEx?  Ive got packaging materials but not a box the right size.
