[Shotimes] Tire load rating

I guess I should have stated "cheapest" Summer only ultra-Performance for
Florida! I'm not expecting an awesome tire here, just something to hold me
over for a short time that's equal or better than the NT450 greasy tire I
have now. I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing with the SHO past this
upcoming year so I'm not going to invest too much in wear items like tires.

Guess you also have to define "cheap", but I would say a V or higher rated
tire for under $100 qualifies. The 712 isn't an all-season (plus even the
Tire Rack won't recommend them under 40 degrees or so). If that's not a
concern, the Yoko AVS ES100 is a nice, new-design silica tire. The Kumho MX
is a hair over $100, is a silica tire, and is getting great early reviews.
Dunlop SP 8000s and SP Sport FM901s are also summer-only tires. In the
all-season category, my favorites for the price are the Nitto 450 Extremes.
Other folks have also liked the Falkens and the Yoko Avid V4a.
Getting over $100 opens up a whole 'nother group, and some of the "over
$100" tires go on sale for under $100 on occasion.

There are better "cheap" tires than the 712s, although living where the
temps stay warm eliminate some of the issues.
