Had a fender bender [my fault] a week after getting my license [in a nice 66
Mustang]. Got a job delivering fruit/veggies a couple weeks later, "Got a
driver's license?, good, go drive that big 'ol truck all over
metro-Milwaukee". I managed to put the rear deck through the windshield of a
VW bug that had pulled behind me and I then decided to back-up [did this in
full view of the owner], stopped about 12 inches from the face of the very
frightened driver. Tore up the right side of same truck a week later trying
to get alongside a loading dock. They let me keep driving?!? and I did so for
another year without incident, quit that job. Have been accident free since
then, 1973. My 16 year old daughter just started driving and I hope she can
get through the first few months without incident!!!! Bob 93 MTX
