[Shotimes] Need recommendations for tranny work

Well, there really aren't any SHO repair folks in Michigan anymore!!

If you have something local, or a dedicated clutch/tranny shop (I recall a
few north of Detroit that the F-body & Mustang guys use, but I would have to
get the names).

I had my tranny rebuilt, then later replaced with another one at a local
shop here in Lake Orion. They did fine, I would use them again if I "had" to
in an emergency, but I would rather have one of the SHO folks do it (like
Mark, either of the Dougs, or Eric at Rickety). It seems like enough shops
have done FWD clutches so that it's not an issue.

Hello all. Happy New Year!

I had my clutch, PP, TOB and wear items replaced in November by Mark N. on
my 1991 Plus. I have had a chatter in the TOB all along but the day before
yesterday became much worse. I believe that the ceramic TOB is bad and I've
sent an email off to Josh for a replacement one as he said he'd replace it
for me assuming it was bad.

Being as Mark will be out of the country for awhile and I don't want to wait
in getting this repaired as I don't want to damage my new PP. Can anybody
recommend an SHO friendly tranny shop (or person) in the state of MI or
close vacinity? I have a tranny shop who replaced my other clutch in 1999,
but I'd just assume share the money with someone in the SHO community first.

Any names and/or phone numbers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,
Beth McCormack
