[Shotimes] Steering Problems

My '93 MTX w/ VAPS has started to give me steering problems.  About three
weeks ago I noticed that when the car is cold, the steering seemed to require
more effort to move the wheel from the center position.  (kinda like
"breakaway torque")  I thought that maybe the PS pump was on its way out and
sure enough it was!  A couple days later the PS pump spit its shaft out and I
had Doug Lewis replace it.  Now, in colder weather the steering is definately
harder to move off center until the car warms up.
Any guesses?
Bad VAPS servo?  Bad Rack?
