The '93 shop repair manual indicates to "Replace if greater than 7000
ohms per foot."

Hope this helps.  You want me to measure the resistence of my old spare
set?  There was nothing wrong with them, just replaced them cause I was
in there.

Is there a test for bad plug wires other than looking for arcing?  Ohm
meter?  I checked the FAQ, but not my Chilton's, and I don't have a
Helms yet.
