I think the 5 speed in my 94 ranger w/ 3.0 vulcan was made by mazda. That
would bolt up to a SHO motor, but I would think you would want a custom
pp/clutch disc made up to withstand the extra hp/torque. What about the high
revs, what would that do to a tranny designed for 5k max?
Maybe the T5 was used in the v6 stang and earlier rangers/aerostars/tbirds?
I've thought about the SHO in a 93-94 ranger too, and just simply keep the 5
speed that comes with the ranger. Lots of time though, and I don't have an
extra garage bay to tie up for a year or so...
