OK, it boils down to the fact that if Al hadn't bought the
car, there is a good chance it would find its way into a
crusher sooner rather than later. Parted out or restored,
it has a better chance to help out other SHO owners with AL
than with most other people that are likely to buy it
outside of the SHO community, and even a few inside the
community.

Those that get on Al's case for parting out a SHO should
follow their own advice and buy the car to restore it
themselves, or be quiet!

Al, do what you need to do, thanks for making these parts
available and thanks for giving us the chance to buy them
whole before you do part them out.

Don't let ANYONE hang a guilt trip on you for parting out a
car. You bought it, you can do what you want. You are
providing a much better service than the typical junk yard
where the car would sit for a few weeks and then be crushed
without ANY reguard for rare parts.

The old car market has gone through this for decades, and
the biggest danger to good used parts are the people that
build a house next to a junkyard and then get laws passed
making that business close up! Or people that pass laws
that allow polluting businesses to buy up good used cars and
crush them just so they won't have to clean up their plant!

I joined SEMA last year because they do a lot to prevent
these types of laws from happening.
