Yes, and you also wore out an FPS rebuilt tranny, right? ;^)

Not trying to make a correlation, but...

I also like the OD button.  I hate when I'm stuck going 35mph and my tranny
is lugging around at 1400rpms in 4th gear.  This has to be good for the
engine, as it's commonly thought that lugging (easy to do in the MTX if
you're not careful) causes the rod bearing wear, as there's little oil
pressure at those low rpms.  Also, this would hypothetically save a lot of
3-4 and 4-3 shifts, so it should be good for the tranny.

I just don't know.
