Yeah, and after spending the big $$$ (even as an Amsoil distributor), what
was the gain?

I adhere to my basic philosophy, which is to do oil changes "religiously'
every 3K, and it doesn't matter WHAT the oil is........$.79/quart generic
oil will work just fine.

Amsoil is touted as a 25k oil.  But I would not run it more than 10k without
the bypass filter setup.  At a 10k service interval I am changing filters
once at 5k and using a K&N filter.
