True, but the torque curve is laying down a little by then and that is what
pulls, right?

Honestly, I know the thing will pull past 7000, but I've never had a car
that will do that before, and I'm not exactly comfortable taking it up that
far very often.   (Especially when Jim is telling me it's getting ready to
spit out the power steering shaft!  See other post.)

Thanks for the advice; I just need to get aggressive.
