Thanks. The problem stopped on its own. I just finished replacing my
halfshafts with A1 remans, motor oil and trans fluid. Car feels much
better now (lot less vibration in the wheel at speed) though I think
that the wilwood rotors could stand to be cut some.

I was in the parking lot at the parts store so that I could return my
old battered halfshafts when a rather portly man clutching a radiator
hose stopped and stared at my car. "That's a beautiful car you got
there! What is it?" he asked. After I told him, he did a walk around and
said "Yeah! I like that!" He got into his fox body stang and drove off.
I thought it was amusing. It's nice that a 10 year old Taurus can still
look decent and get compliments.

Take the door light switches out and unplug them one at a time until the
light goes off.  Easy to do and cheap to fix.  The switches are only a
couple of bucks at AZ.
