[Shotimes] Anyone in NY state recognize this silver '89 with ARE wheels? (56k miles)

ARE wheels??  Do you have any other pics of the car?  The ones on ebay
don't seem to load anymore.  ARE wheels would be very expensive to begin
with, and its very possible that they don't make them in the SHO bolt
pattern anyway.  I would be a little cautious about that.  They might
just be the stock basket wheels, and maybe look like a wheel that ARE
makes.

I have a friend who won an '89 SHO on Ebay for $2,900, and it supposedly
have
only 56,xxx original miles.. It is a silver '89 with half leather half
cloth
interior, absolutely clean inside and outside, and it has some black ARE
wheels (with polished lips).. Police grille, GTO removeable headlight
covers,
etc..

I told my friend that I have my doubts, since the intake manifold looks
a bit
rubbed, even though the exterior and interior looks real nice..I know of
several '89's out there that would pass for being a 56k (mileage-wise)
car
based just on the apperance, but is really 100,000 miles older.. There
are
some people out here that try to pass off a car as a non-rolled over
mileage
wise example just because of how nice it looks..

I think I have seen this car somewhere on some SHO forums online, so if
anyone recognizes the car, and knows the previous owner, that'd be
great..
Because I'd like to talk with the previous owner if there is any way to
do
so..
