Kris,
 Probst's manual [Ford Fuel Injection and Elec Engine Control, 1988-1993] has 
no test specifically for the PCM. Perhaps if you checked every component 
controlled by it [which seems to be all components] and they all checked out 
properly, then, maybe, the PCM could be pointed to as at fault.....not a 
feasible deal IMO. So, I bet Al has a PCM he'd sell a loyal customer.....if 
you really think it's the problem?
