If you're really lucky, it's just the hose connection at the firewall. The
hose can be replaced with a little work and some bulk hose from your
favorite parts store.
I'd at least endure the frigid temps long enough to check that out.
If you're not lucky, it will be a $25 part and 7-10 hour labor job.
My old 3.0 endured several overheat cycles before I got it with no apparent
damage. That was 20K miles ago and it's at 208K miles now.
