If you read the whole story, WI ice cream folks were  not interested, and
the MN company already does Vikings-related ice cream. The article basically
was a slam on the WI ice cream folks, as they wanted too much $$$, and did
not seem interested in the business. The MN company did a great sales job.

BTW.....on a totally unrelated topic......a few weeks ago, I went to
Milwaukee's oldest tavern, the Landmark 1850 Tavern on Howell just south of
the airport. Very cool place!! They have 40 beers on tap. Would be a nice
place to visit during the Convention on our way back from Union Grove!!.

  That whole deal smelled funny, someone got stroked big time for bringing
that ice cream into Lambeau. I think it was mob ice cream, "you buy 'dis
here ice cream and we'll see that Mr. Sapp never bothers you's again, you's
buy our cones too and we'll think about letting you win in Minnesota".   Bob
