There's an interesting discussion of torque vs HP (somewhere) on the web
where the author points out that the higher you can can extend the torque
curve (hence higher HP) the better off you are. The reason? You can always
gear down (well, maybe not on a SHO), effectively increasing the torque at
the wheels for a constant HP at the crank. Interesting I thought.
