[Shotimes] Sho is HORRIBLE in the snow

As a few folks have mentioned, the RE730 are summer-only tires, that is a
major issue.

Two, if the yellow ABS light came on, the ABS is NOT functioning. It is shut
off when it detects a problem. The dealer can read the codes on the
controller to see what the issue is. That can lock up the rear end and bring
it around.

Third, yes, the SHO is not that good in the snow, anyway. The whole
FWD-as-good-in-the-snow thing pertains the (1) cars with low power and
skinny tires, and (2) really only applies when starting out on the slick
stuff, not when turning or stopping. FWIW, this is also the lesson that many
new 4wd folks don't learn.....they can start more quickly, but stopping is
NO better and you can't repeal the laws of physics when trying to make quick
turns on a slippery surface.

I have had lower-powered FWD cars before I bought the first SHO, and the SHO
has some rather rough moments in the snow. Like try making a left turn unto
a crowned, slippery road.......you can try to accelerate, or you can
steer......but you can't do both! Wide tires, a relatively heavy car, and a
fair amount of power conspire against the SHO.

Man with my Bridgestone Potenza ZR-17 RE730 tires on it I was just driving
along going really slow and all the sudden the car does a 360. This happened
two times and once was on and hill and scared the hell outta me. Everyone
else was going like 30-40 I swear but i was scared even going 20. Then when
I
did hit the brakes really hard the anti-lock break warning light came on.
What does that mean anyway? Never saw that one before. Man those cars are
terrible in the snow. Just thought I would share my experience. I almost
wrecked 4 times and barely made it up a couple hill.s
