[Shotimes] Couple of questions

I'll take a shot at some of it:

1. Mine does the same thing, and it's worse in the cold weather. IMHO, your
radiator is leaking at the tank seals. Old SHOs (like Gen 1s) had a problem
with the overflow tanks leaking, but they seem to be fine on Gen 2s......but
Gen 2 radiators leak sooner. Mine leaked last Winter, stopped leaking over
the warm weather, and started again this winter. Spots on the garage floor
look like the radiator tank (I have a '95 MTX, btw).

2. Sounds like the fuel lines/rail are not holding fuel pressure. Frankly
CRS strikes and I forget whether it's a worn fuel pump or another issue (I
believe it's the pump wearing out).

3. Mine does it, too. Flooring it helps it start. I thought it was a lack
of fuel, the consensus on the thread over the last few days is that full
throttle cuts off fuel and the car starts because it is flooded. Mine feels
like an old carb car with a wide-open choke, but flooring it helps to start.
This is just for the first 1/2 mile or so. Not sure on the solution, but
it's only a cold (sub 25 degrees or so) weather issue, so I'm not doing
anything about it.

4. ??

5. Yep, those doughnuts don't last. The best fix I had when the 1st donut
went on my SS y-pipe years ago was that Midas replaced the donut, and
torqued the spring bolts down so tight they bent. It didn't leak again!

Subject: [Shotimes] Couple of questions

GEtting ready for the spring when I can actually do a little work on the SHO
1995 MTX
1. Every 2 months or so I get a low coolant light. I check and the overflow
is empty. THe rad is full and fine. So I beleive I have a slow leak in the
Overflow. Agree?
2. Starting is getting longer. and it seems if I give it a little gas when
starting it wont go. Lately I have been having to start twice.
3. When cold she has a little hesitation when I blip the throttle. What
could
this be?
4. DOes anyone have a dashboard electronic clicking when switching the
wipers
on and off? Works fine but doesn't sound right
5. I Have the SHO shop Y Pipe and Cat back, I had replaced the doughnut
recently, but it seems to be a loud again. My mechanic says it looks like
the
doughnuts will not last too long with this setup. Anyone have any
experiences
similiar? I was told I also have some leaks in some of my welds. I will be
getting that looked at and also look into adding a larger and possibly
second
resonator.

Thanks in advance
