After watching the first episode of "24" I was hooked.  Didn't miss a
single one.

I would say, when you have a day to do nothing, watch the first season.
It will actually explain a lot of what's going on in the second season.

First, I'm using a new e-mail address.  Good riddance 
Compuslob!

I know George and others discussed this last fall - but, 
man, 24 is really getting good!  Every episode is 
excellent because you don't know what's happening next. 
 We are thinking about renting the first season, but 
that's a lot of time to invest!  For those who saw last 
year's shows, is it as good as this year?

SHO content - I made a two gauge panel to go in the 
useless tape holder on the GenII's console.  Looks very 
OEMish.  I'll post pics this spring...
