Hi Scott..

I watched a couple of this year's shows, near the first part of the season.  After
watching them all at the same time, in order, on the DVD, I'm waiting to see them
after the "first" season is over.  

The first season is excellent....you forget about the time after the middle of the
first hour.  We were going to watch one CD per night, but couldn't quit, and watched
them all at once, three 4-hour CDs at a time.  Many questions evident in the second
season are answered in the first one, like why is Jack so mad at the government, and
what's up with this Nina chick!!??

Definitely rent the DVDs!!
