[Shotimes] Line-X for soundproofing my floor?

Hey guys, I'm about to start into a few soundproofing projects for my '89.
First I am thinking about pulling all the interior and spraying the whole
floor of the car about 1\8 to a 1\4 inch thick with Line-X, the spray on truck
bedliner material. I manage a Line-X store and can get it done extremely
cheap. I'm also wondering about pulling the door panels and applying that
special matting that car stereo places use for better sound quality or maybe
just line-X certain parts not to interfere with the power window mechanism.
Please let me know what you all think as far as your own experience with
soundproofing for (stereo performance, road noise), recommendations for the
application or simple suggestions before I start. If I get enough reply, this
'89 will be a sure guinea pig for this soundproofing project for all of us.
