[Shotimes] Buzzing/grinding on startup

Just curious if anyone else has this problem?  When it's really cold outside
(20 degrees or lower) and my car is just being started there's a
grinding/buzzing noise coming from the middle of the front of the car.
Kinda sounds like starting the car when it's already started.  Sounds like
maybe the starter isn't disengaging quick enough on startup?  This sound
possible?  BTW the starter is new as of 8/18/02 and this happened the winter
before I replaced the starter. Thanks
