I think that I am gonna attempt it again (first attempt; crashed and
burned-I ended up splicing into a turn signal wire to the steering
column..whoops) I still have an odd oscillating steering thing going on
and what feels like play in the steering wheel. New CV joints, motor
mounts, ball joints, tie rods, steering rack, wheel bearings, etc etc..

The VAPS switch was the first "mod" I did to my 93. It's very nice to
have the option of a few levels of boost. Price is right, too.

Depends on how fast you are going when you disconnect it. ;) full boost
if done at a stop. That's why the switch mod is a good one; you can turn
it off while at speed and leave it that way.

If I disconnect the VAPS connection under the dash is the "boosted"
steering on all the time or off all the time? Thanks, David 94ATX&91
