[Shotimes] Question about Eastwood tools

If you are careful, a simple drill bit will do the job. I've done a few
cars like this now with no problems. You only want to drill the welds,
nothing more. i.e., don't drill through the strut tower itself.

I'm not sure about the one in the Eastwood catalog but the one I bought
was made be Astro Pneumatic. I bought it at my auto body supply shop
and I think it was 3/8". To be honest I think the tool is shot, it
doesn't really stay sharp for long. The one you want is like a drill
bit not the hole saw type.

Looks like I need to do a little work on the front strut towers. I seem
to remember a discussion some time back (last year?) about the spot weld
drilling tools that Eastwood offers. There are a couple of types and a
couple of sizes.

Does anyone know what size or part number is required? (Ron P I think
you were in on this)

Thanks

Bill
