Oh..I forgot to add. The MTX75 may not be the greatest trans out there,
but it seems to hold up fine behind NOS and SC'ed Contour SVT's. It
can't be any worse than the MTX-IV that us V6'ers use. I believe a
modified unit is also in the Jaguar 3.0's as it's a similar drivetrain
although AWD (I think).

I'm not familiar with the MTX-75, but I think it is for the Focus and
Escort. If so, I don't think it would handle the V8.
I'm curious how you know they are the same bolt pattern. Do you have a
resource for the bolt patterns?
